About Me

Hi My name is Zakiyah Begum, I am a final year undergraduate student studying BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology at Birmingham City University. 

I have produced an online portfolio to display work I have produced whilst studying at University. 

I am hardworking, ambitious individual who has the thrive to learn things, at a fast pace. I have passion for what I do which motivates me to do better. My love for construction and designing came about few years ago when undergoing a two storey rare house extension at my family home as well as, being able to see many buildings being built around my area which had given me the insight of how buildings works and are constructed on site.  

During my time at Birminghm City University, I have acquired new skills such as: AutoCAD to produce 2D detailed junction drawings with specification, Revit to design 3D models, Sketchup and Lumion.

I am seeking the opportunity to join a reputable firm where I can progress to demonstrate my full potential and genuine interest within the field after graduating in the Summer 2020.
